Finklings

Finklings is an annual issue of the Staples newspaper Inklings that comes out on April 1 of every year (April Fools' Day). It is written in the same format as its "true" counterpart, but all of its articles are fake and meant to be humorous. Additionally, on the headers of articles, instead of the student/year and the role, there are made up terms (aka "Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde"). It is supervised and written by the same people as Inklings, and just like each issue of the paper, there is a meeting for it, typically held at the beginning of March.
The latest issue came out Monday, 3 April 2006, as April Fools' Day was on Saturday and it was the nearest allowable date.
Typically, Finklings issues are significantly shorter than standard Inklings issues.
