Gerhardt Rast (1912-1998) was the Superintendent of Schools in the 1940's. He assumed role of principal for only a brief time, so not much is notable about him.

He replaced Douglas Young as an Interim after his sudden death, and remained until a replacement, Stanley Lorenzen was instituted.
