The Guidance Department (sometimes referred to now as "Student Services") is the team of staff in charge of assisting with the scheduling of students as well as college placement.

The suite of the department is located in Building G, across from the new Library. The space was formerly used by the Main Office, which vacated it in February 2005. After 12 months of renovation, with several months of delay, the office opened to the public on February 27, 2006.

The old office was located near the Cafeteria, which was built during Modernization. Before this time period the Guidance Counselors shared the space with the Main Office.

During Summer 2005, a portion of the previous suite was destroyed in order to complete the expansion of the Cafeteria; for the 2005-2006 school year until February break, much of the department stayed in that office, although it was radically different (and smaller). Some went to various offices scattered around, including a makeshift suite at the end of the Six building.

The current suite contains 17 seperate offices for counselors, a securities "vault" for records (not a vault, but a room with a secure fire protection rating), a Career Planning Office, Conference Room, and a main lobby area in which the secretaries work. In total, there are 23 different office rooms (not counting the main area). From the exterior, the dimensions did not change from its previous state as the Main Office and Radio Station. However, six rectangular holes were cut during renovation, which were then turned into windows (the old Main Office contained only one pane of windows, across the middle).
