The Math and Science Learning Center at Staples High School is one of three learning centers within the building (along with the English and Social Studies Learning Center and the World Language Learning Center, arranged as part of the 2001 installation of such areas. This learning center provides necessary materials for classes of the Math and Science department. These include the entire set of textbooks used by Math classes of all types, as well as such textbooks for Science classes.

The learning center is currently located in Room 3051, just beyond the department suites for those departments. The current learning center contains four computers (older ones though), several sets of older desks, and a shelf of textbooks. This learning center opened with the rest of Building K on February 27, 2006.

From March 1, 2005 through February 17, 2006, the Science Department used Room 2038 as its learning center, while the Math Department used Room 632. From January 3, 2005 through February 18, 2005, there was no Science learning center, with Math using Room 632. Before then, [[Nine building|Room 952] was used as the learning center for both departments (which was formerly a computer lab).
