The Thrope Scope

The Thrope Scope was a column written by Glenn Thrope '04 that appeared in each issue of Inklings. It often centered upon recent topics affecting the school and world, icluding the Iraq war, school policies, and other current politics. It was a column most students looked forward to for Thrope's articulate views on all subjects. Many times the column would take school or Board of Education policies and extend them, putting them in context of the world we live in. The column's popularity was at its highest during Thrope's senior year.
Thrope's brother, Jonathan Thrope '06 was offered and encouraged to reinstate The Thrope Scope, but declined.
