Tron was the name of the server that the stapleshigh.net domain and most of its subdomains (such as Inklings and the TV System) used to be hosted on. In 2002 the Computer Club moved everything onto Junker, consolidating Junker and Tron into one server (Junker). Tron used to run Red Hat Linux 6.2.

Tron was funded by the PTA, after the Computer Club submitted a grant proposal led by Eric Schoeller.

The Computer Club recently built a new server to replace the aging Junker, and once the new one was up and running they renamed the old Junker to Tron in honor of the original Tron.
